‘Communication in a Multicultural Environment’ International Staff Week 2019
Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun is proud to present its 1st International Staff Week (ISW) ‘Communication in a Multicultural Environment’. This ISW is aimed at our international colleagues working as administrative staff in an international environment.
ISW will be held at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń between 9-13 December 2019. The programme involves interactive workshops covering the following topics:
- effective communication in an international environment,
- cultural differences,
- problem solving techniques for university administrative staff.
Beside the workshops there will be an opportunity of networking through the social events aimed at getting to know the city of Toruń and enjoying some highlights of Polish culture.
There is a maximum of 25 participants.
The participation in the event is free of charge. If you are a grant holder (i.e. you have received an Erasmus+ funding for ISW from your home University), we can not cover the cost of your accomodation.

The programme is co-financed by the European Social Fund under the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020 as a part of the project „Raising competences of academic staff and the institution’s potential in admission of people from abroad – Welcome to Poland”, implemented as an operation from application no POWR.03.03.00-00-PN14/18.
